Everybody’s Gone to the Rapture for MacBook
We are proud to announce that another first-person adventure video game called Everybody’s Gone to the Rapture for MacBook is here. So all the MacBooks and iMacs owners can play it now. While The Chinese Room and SCE Santa Monica Studio developed it, Sony Computer Entertainment published it. The game is a story-based one and is taking place in a small English village where the citizens have disappeared.
Everybody’s Gone to the Rapture for MacBook is set in 1984, in a fictional deserted village called Yaughton in Shropshire, England. Your task is to explore and manage to discover how and why everyone dissapeared. There are some mysterious floating orbs of light you will notice swimming around in the air. These lead you to scenes made up of other human-shaped lights that are reenact several previously occurring in-game events.
As we mentioned, you have to explore a small English town and why its inhabitants are gone missing. You can interact with the floating lights and this way parts of the story are going to be revealed. At some point, you are allowed to interact with man-made objects like doors, radios, phones and others.

Everybody’s Gone to the Rapture features five areas focusing around a different character. The main protagonists are Dr Katherine Collins and her husband Stephen Appleton, both being scientists at the observatory. While working, they find a ”strange pattern” of lights in the night sky and they believe it is an unknown form of life. Then, things are getting interesting and we let you discover them while playing the game.
