Ori and the Blind Forest for macOS is finally here! Fortunately now is converted so all the MacBooks and iMacs owners can play this platform-adventure Metroidvania video game. It is developed by Moon Studios and published by Microsoft Studios. You will control the white guardian spirit named Ori and Sein known as ”the light and eyes” of the Forest’s Spirit Tree.
Your task in Ori and the Blind Forest for macOS is to move between different platforms and also solve several puzzles. The story is about Ori that unfortunately as a newborn felt from a tree because of a storm. After this he was adopted by a creature known as Naru and he took care of him. But because a cataclysmic event that made all the forest wither, Nadu died not having what to eat. Now Ori is alone in the forest and by himself. Exhausted by all the sad events, Ori collapsed near the Spirit Tree but he saves him.
On his way trough the forest, Ori meets Sein, a special being in the shape of a little blue orb. Sein will guide Ori in Ori and the Blind Forest for macOS and attack the enemies they encounter in their adventure. Ori wants to restore the forest so Sein is a huge help for him in order to recover the light of three main elements that support Nibel balance. The elements we are talking about are: Waters, Winds and Warmth.

While Ori can jump, climb and use other abilities to navigate, Sein is able to shoot Spirit Flames when enemies get closer. He can even break different obstacles. It is important to mention Ori’s Ability Tree includes three branches represented by red, purple and green. The red branch is about Ori offensive skills and the purple one deals with comfort and observation. The last colored branch, the green one is about Ori defensive and survival capabilities.
